Hi, and welcome to the site. of Byron Williams Jr, an american soul, jazz singer song writer. In the early 90's he toured with the Drifters for several years throughout southern Europe . Now he is traveling throughout northern Europe and the United States.

He is based in Oslo, touring in Scandinavia, Finland , Great Britain and the USA. Byron considers himself to be a multi style artist. You will find that he's able to go from soul to rock and roll, very comfortably.

Byron has played with band members of 17 pieces, 10 pieces, 5 pieces, trio's etc…… His tastes are varied from Frank Sinatra to Barry White and everything in between. From the 50's to now. His mentors in music stretch over a musical spectrum as well. Like Luther Vandross, Will Downing, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole,Lou Rawls, James Taylor, Michael Mc Donald, Peabo Bryson. Some say that he is a throw back to the days of the crooners of old, mixed with great anticipation for the future offerings. To put it simple, he feels blessed and enjoying what he does.

He is currently working on another cd slated to come out, the first of January 2008.
